How to configure Port Aggregation on NBS switch on new Ruijie Cloud? 1. What is Port Aggregation? When 2 switches are connected, multiple interfaces can be used for interconnection to improve the connection bandwidth. In this case, the interface can be set as an Aggregate interface. An Aggregate Port has the following characteristics: 1). Physically, an Aggregate interface consists of multiple physical interfaces. Logically, an Aggregate interface is regarded as a high-speed interface whose bandwidth is the sum of the bandwidths of its interfaces. 2). The physical interfaces that use an Aggregate interface must be of the same type, have the same parameters, and belong to the same VLAN. 3). The Aggregate interface provides a traffic balancing function. When an Aggregate link disconnects, the system automatically distributes its traffic to other valid links without affecting the use of the interface. Each Aggregate interface is identified by an integer (AP ID) 2.
