How do I query the MAC address of a LAN client from an EG series device?
In a layer-3 environment (the client's gateway is on the core switch),an EG series device cannot identify the client's MAC address. Therefore, youcannot query the MAC address of a LAN client from an EG series device. In alayer-2 environment, choose Security> ARP Entries on the Web UI toquery a client's MAC address. Alternatively, run the show arp command in the CLI to query the client's IP or MACaddress.
