Dear Ghali Haythem,

Please refer to the following post:

Hi Jayden,

So session counts for all devices and traffic will go through the master?
For my example, I have a customer had 150 AP rg-ap820L (v2) and 2 Ap rap6262(g) without AC and gatway ruijie.
6262 is the master, can this cause errors?

Regards

Dear Ghali Haythem,

The master device is only applicable to a Reyee SON network (Self Organising Network which is formed by Reyee devices), the AP820-L(V2) is a Ruijie Enterprise device, and cannot join the Reyee SON.
Since the AP820-L(V2) cannot join the SON and there is no AC to manage the APs, you can manage the AP820-L(V2) collectively on Ruijie Cloud.

The master device in a Reyee SON network is responsible for managing all the Reyee devices in the same SON, for example, delivering configurations. The master device will not process sessions or traffic, the data traffic will be transmitted based on the switching and routing of the network devices.

Best regards,
Jayden
