How to configure port mapping on Reyee EG?
1. Getting Started[*]Confirm the intranet IP address of the mapping device on the LAN and theport number used by the service.
[*]Confirm that the mapped service can be normally used on the LAN.
2. Configuration Steps
Choose One-Device > Gateway >Config >Advanced> Port Mapping > PortMapping.
Click Add. In the dialog box that appears, enter the rule name, service type, protocoltype, external port/range, internal server IP address, and internal port/range.You can create a maximum of 50 port mapping rules.

Name
Enterthe description of the port mapping rule, which is used to identify the rule.
PreferredServer
Selectthe type of service to be mapped, such as HTTP or FTP. The internal portnumber commonly used by the service is automatically entered. If you are notsure about the service type, select Custom.
Protocol
Selectthe transmission layer protocol type used by the service, such as TCP or UDP. The value ALLindicates that the rule applies to both protocols. The value must comply withthe client configuration of the service.
ExternalIP Address
Specify the host address used foraccessing the external network. You can set it to the following:l
Outbound Interface: You can select All WANPorts or specify a WAN port.l
Enter or select an IP address: Select or enter the IPaddress of a WAN port.
ExternalPort/Range
Specifythe port number used for Internet access. You need to confirm the port numberin the client software, such as the camera monitoring software. You can entera port number or a port range, such as 1050-1060. If you enter a port range,the value of Internal Port/Rangemust also be a port range.
InternalIP Address
Specifythe IP address of the internal server to be mapped to the WAN port, that is,the IP address of the LAN device that provides Internet access, such as theIP address of the network camera.
InternalPort/Range
Specifythe service port number of the internal server to be mapped to the WAN port,that is, the port number of the application that provides Internet access,such as port 8080 of the Web service.
Youcan enter a port number or a port range, such as 1050-1060. If you enter aport range, the number of ports must be the same as that specified in External Port/Range.
3. Verification and Test
Check whether the external network device canaccess services on the destination host using the external IP address and external port number.
4. Solution toTest Failure
(1) Modify the value of ExternalPort/Range and use the new external port number to perform the test again.The possible cause is that the port is blocked by the firewall.
(2) Enable the remote access permission on the server. The possible cause isthat remote access is displayed on the server, resulting in normal internal access but abnormal access across network segments.
(3)Configure DMZ rules. For details, see community.ruijienetworks.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=7940&page=1&extra=#pid15929 . The possible cause is that the specified ports are incorrect or incomplete.
