Application Scenario

When the administrator forgets the login password, you can restore the currentpassword to the default password.

Procedure

(1) Access the UserLogin page of the webmanagement platform.

(2) Click Forgot Password?.

(3) Perform the operation as instructed on the page.

a. Hold down the Reset button for over 5s until the device is restoredto the factory mode.

b. Connect the management PC to port 0/MGMT on the device panel througha network cable and set the IP address of the PC to one in the same networksegment as that of port 0/MGMT (default address: 192.168.1.200), such as192.168.1.201. Log in to https://192.168.1.200 and enterthe default username and password (adminand firewall).

c. After login, click Restore Backup File. Then, the system prompts you to restart the device. After thedevice restarts, the web login account and password are restored to admin and firewall, and the other configurations are retained.

d. Log in to the device using the default account and password (admin and firewall) and change the password as required.
