Hallo All
I use several RG-AP820-L(V2) products for daily needs. What I want to ask is, why when tested the speed when using wifi and cable the speed difference is very far.
topology: ONT --> Switch 10/100/1000 Mbps --> RG-AP820-L(V2)
maybe there are advice best setting the RG-AP820-L(V2) which can be maximized again when using wifi
firmware my RG-AP820-L(V2) now : AP_RGOS 11.9(6)W3B1, Release(11160201)

To improve Wi-Fi speed, you can follow these steps:
Choose the Best Location: Ensure there are no walls or other objects between your device and the Access Point (AP). This can significantly enhance signal strength and reduce interference.
Optimize Device Configuration:
Select the Best Channel: Access your AP’s settings page and choose the best channel to minimize interference. You can use tools like Wi-Fi analyzers to find the least congested channel.
Adjust Bandwidth: Ensure the bandwidth settings are optimized for your network environment.
</li>
Upgrade Your Device: Consider upgrading to a newer device, such as a Reyee WiFi6 AP (e.g., RAP2260G/E, RAP6260G), which supports higher speeds and better performance.
Check for Software Updates: Ensure that your network drivers and AP firmware are up to date. Outdated software can lead to reduced performance.
Enable Wireless Speed Limit Feature: You can set downlink or uplink rate limits to ensure bandwidth is evenly distributed. This can be done through the Ruijie Cloud configuration platform.
