If you log in to an EG2100-P devicefor the first time, manually configure a static IP address from 192.168.1.2 to192.168.1.254 for the PC and use a network cable to connect the PC to a G0/2interface (LAN 1 to LAN 7 ports) other than WAN 0 (port 2 is a LAN port bydefault) on the EG2100-P device.
