a) Check the bridge environment: whether the distance between devices is too far, whether there is any obstruction between them, or whether the wireless radio is disturbed.

b) Check the wireless setting and adjust the channel and the transmit power setting on the Wireless setting page.

Note:
In CPE mode, the local channel and its channel width are consistent with the peer channel and its channel width.

does choosing the shorter distance in the parameter helps a stronger signal?

Dear sir

If the distance between devices is short, the higher the power configured, the better the signal strength. However, the devices must be aligned face to face
Because if the devices are facing the opposite direction, the signal between them will be poor at this time

i mean, what's the purpose of distance parameter here? does it affect the signal?

This is just a convenient way to set the correct ACK Timeout for your link. It does not change anything regarding signal.
Just make sure it is higher than the real distance.

Dear sir

It depends on the EST how far they're actually bridging
If the distance between EST is more than 1km, and the configuration shows 1km, the bridge between EST will fail

Best regards,
Ross

Dear sir

oh i see, so what happens if the distance between EST is 500m, then you choose 5km?
