To enable PoE switch compatibility, run the

ruijie(config)#poe legacy

command in global configuration mode (if it isunavailable in interface configuration mode). In this case, PoE switchcompatibility is enabled on all interfaces. Be sure to run the

no poe enable

command on ports that are not connected to PoEpowered devices (PDs). Otherwise, the ports may be burnt.
