Thanks for the reply, is there a reason for this?
I can't just ask my customers to change passwords on every device just because the device i'm installing doesn't support a "-".
Is there a problem if I configure this through the cli?

Greetings

Hi

Is there a reason for this?
--This is because Reyee AP does not support setting Wifi password with "-".

If you are using ruijie AP,  you can try the following steps:
1.Set  another password for the SSID.
2.Let ap online on cloud and complete configuration synchronization with cloud.
3.Use cli command function  to deliver the password which contain "-" to ap.
The feature of Ruijie Cloud CLI Command
4.No longer change any configuration on the cloud about this SSID, if there is a change, the cloud will again synchronize the password set in the cloud to the AP, you need to send the command again through the cli command to change the password of the SSID.

Hi

Is there a reason for this?

Yeah, i did it via CLI.
One more question, if the device reboot, it will ask for configurations to the cloud again? in that case i should configurate every time the device lose energy.

If you configure a saved command in the cli command, the command will still be present in the device after the device reboots. If there are changes made for SSID configuration in cloud, then you need to reissue the cli command again.

Hi

Is there a reason for this?

Ruijie,
If you want more customers you need to change that, is not possible that you can´t put your password as you want, just because the software doesn't support some special characters, we need to put passwords created before because we have a lot of devices that have it and we can't change the password for all
