Title: What is dfs?
DFS is Dynamic Frequency Selection, which is a function of using 5 GHz Wi-Fi frequencies that are generally reserved for radar, such as military radar, satellite communication, and weather radar. The main benefit to use DFS channels is to increase the number of Wi-Fi channels. It is legally required Channel Availability Check process to prevent electromagnetic interference the 5 GHz frequency with the radar.

The DFS certification will require Wi-Fi products that use the 5GHz band. When detecting radar signals in the same frequency band, automatically switch to another channel. The DFS channels vary from country to country.  The DFS channels vary from country to country. Each country's open 5Gz channel is not the same, some countries have a strong anti-interference winding technology, will open more frequency band, some countries are less open, or even no.
