It there any way that the EW-1200G Pro can upgrade the firmware to have URL blocking ?

Sorry EW1200G Pro can not support app block/url filter feature currently.

Hi Jenny,
This is not good for home use specially nowadays in internet environment, anything can pop up in your browser intentionally while your kids surfing the internet. I like your product because of remote accesses and budget friendly. Is there a next in line in your product for home that has a app block / URL filter ?

If you want a product that can filter or block URLs, you can choose the Gateway series
