One thing I don't like is that the Port Alias for devices is not prominent. It needs to be everywhere. Everywhere I can see the ports, I should see the Port Alias / Description.

Do you mean adding the description to the ports of the switch in the cloud?
If so, let me tell you that it's possible to add it through the configuration section.
If not, could you share the model of the switch?
