Title: How to do if a EW wired client cannot access the Internet, but a wireless client can?
Topology

1. Possible Cause
1.1 A cable fault occurs.
1.2 The PC Network Interface Controller (NIC) is disabled.
1.3 The client is configured with a static IP address that is not on the same network segment as that of the IP address assigned by the router.
1.4 The Ethernet cable may be connected to an IPTV port.
1.5 The router is configured with a schedule to block Wi-Fi connectivity for connected clients.
1.6 The Domain Name System (DNS) configuration on the router is incorrect.
1.7 ARP binding errors occur on the router.
1.8 The DNS configuration on the PC is incorrect.
2.Troubleshooting
2.1 Abnormal Physical Status
2.1.1 If the PC Ethernet adapter is disabled, enable it and check whether the ports on the PC and router are Up.

1.1.2 On the PC, check whether the NIC LED is normal and whether the NIC link speed is correct.

1.1.3 On the router, the port information is displayed in the Ethernet status pane. A port in green indicates that the port isUp.

1.1.4 Replace the Ethernet cable for testing if the port fails to go Up.
Connect the Ethernet cable to a functional device and check whether the device works normally. Alternatively, replace the Ethernet cable with a functional one to check whether the Ethernet cable is faulty. If the fault persists, the Ethernet cable is faulty. Otherwise, the issue lies with the router. Proceed with thenext step.
2.2 The Client is Configured with a Static IP Address That is Not on the Same Network Segment as That of the IP Address Assigned by the Router
1.2.1 Check whether the static IP address is misconfigured. If yes, select Obtain anIP address automatically or reconfigure an IP address on the same networksegment (192.168.110.x) as the IP address assigned by the router, and configure the correct gateway and DNS address.

1.2.2 Ping the LAN gateway address, WAN port address, and DNS server address.

1.3 The Ethernet Cable May Be Connected to An IPTV Port
The wiredclient may be connected to the IPTV port on the router, which is disabled forInternet access. Connect the Ethernet cable to another port and try again.

1.4 The Router Is Configured with a Schedule toBlock Wi-Fi Connectivity for Clients
If a blockschedule is configured, clients cannot access the Internet during the blocktime. You can delete the schedule and check whether the client can access theInternet.

1.5 The Client Is Added to the Blocklist
Log in to the router to check whether the clientis on the blocklist.

1.6 ARP Binding is Enabled on the Router
Errors occur in ARP static binding. If theIP address and MAC address do not match those of the PC, the PC cannot accessthe Internet. Check the MAC address and IP address in the ARP list, and deletethe binding to test whether the PC can access the Internet.
