1. Network Topology
2. Possible Cause
The parameters set for the CRT software are incorrect or the console cable is faulty. 3. Troubleshooting Procedure
Step 1: Check the running status of the device power (PWR) LED.
1. Check the PWR LED status.
When the power supply is normal, the PWR LED is solid green.
When the power supply is off or faulty, the PWR LED is off.
Note: If the PWR LED is off, check whether the power module is properly powered on and determine whether the device hardware is faulty.
2. Check the SYS LED status.
When the device is being powered on and initialized, the SYS LED blinks green.
When the initialization is complete, the SYS LED is solid green.
When alarms are generated, the SYS LED is solid red.
Note: You can check the console output logs to determine whether faults occur on the software. Step 2: Set parameters for the console cable.
To login through the console port using the CRT software, select the correct COM port, set Baud rate to 115200, and do not select options of Flow Control.
You can view the port on Computer Management, as shown in the following figure.
Step 3: Replace the console cable and test the device.
1. Replace the console cable with a new one for testing to check whether the original console cable is faulty.
2. If no spare console cable is available, use other methods that support console login for testing.
If you still fail to log in to the device through the console port and the window hasno input or output, a hardware exception may occur on the console cable. You can also perform a login test using other methods.
