Issue Description

(1) The password recovery methods in RGOS 11.X cannot be used to recover the password of an S2915 switch.


There are two password recovery methods in RGOS 11.X:

Cause Analysis

1. Check the device model and version.

2. The attempt to use two password recovery methods in RGOS 11.X fails.
3. The password is successfully restored using the password recovery method in RGOS 12.X.
(1)Restart the switch and press Ctrl+C.
(2)Select 4. Scattered utilities.
(3)Select 4. Run main without enable password.


Root Cause

Although the RG-S2915-L uses the RGOS 11.X operating system, you need to use the password recovery method in RGOS 12.X for password recovery.
