I upgrade from the RG-EG3230 to the RG-EG1510XS for the SFP+ ports to support my 2Gb internet connection and SFP+ connection to my core switch. Is there a firmware update in the feature for the RG-EG1510XS
to enable IDS/IPS for network security defense? Also, another reason to upgrade was for Single pane of glass networking (All Reyee gear). The RG-EG1510XS became the master device, when using the RG-EG3230 the Reyee AP became the master using the SON feature. Would be nice to have some of the Ruijie gateway features in the Reyee router.

Thank you for your feedback.
Currently, the RG-EG1510XS does not have intrusion prevention feature like IDS/IPS.
Our firewall models including RG-WALL 1600-Z5100-S, RG-WALL 1600-Z3200-S have this feature. I will submit your requirement for this feature on the RG-EG1510XS to our R&D team.

May I also ask if there are features on Ruijie Gateways
you particularly want to be supported on the Reyee Gateways?

The ceiling mounted WiFi 6 and WiFi 7 APs could be a little smaller form factor.
I have several WiFi 6 in wall APs and waiting for the WiFi 7 in wall APs.
