How to restart AP's every day?

(I) How to set the AP to restart every day on the AC?

To avoid AP overload due to long working hours, which affects the quality of users' Internet access, you can configure the AP to restart every day, which can ensure the quality of users' Internet access every day.

Configure Ruijie-AP1 to restart at 1:00:00 every day:

Ruijie(config)#ap-config Ruijie-AP1

Ruijie(config-ap)#reload at 1:00:00

(II) Can thin AP be set to restart every day?

Ruijie(config)#ap-config AP1

Ruijie(config-ap)#reload at 1:00:00 every day
Ruijie(config-ac)#no reload at turn off automatic restart

This command not working : Ruijie(config)#ap-config AP1 and Ruijie(config-ap)#reload at 1:00:00 every day

we do not AC use.

Model : AP840-I Hardware Firmware :
AP_RGOS 11.9(6)W3B1, Release(11160123)

Dear , for the AP configuration of scheduled restart in non-AC mode, please refer to the following command:
reload [ at { hour [ :minute [ :second ] ] } [ month [ day [ year ] ] ] ]
For example:
reload at 19:15:00 11 5 2024

Detailed parameter description:
hour [ :minute [ :second ] ]---Set the hour:minute:second of restart. The omitted part uses the current system setting value.
hour [ :minute [ :second ] ]---Set the hour:minute:second of restart. The omitted part uses the current system setting value.
day---Set the date. The value range is 1~31. If this day does not exist in the current month, the date will be calculated backward.
year---Set the year. The value range is 1970~2069 (or 1970~2037).

Unfortunately, we cannot agree on something. Because the command in question works only once. It does not repeat this every day. Can't this be done? Repeat this every day at 05:00:00? Unfortunately, there is no such command or configuration in enterprise class access points, I guess?
The command you mentioned never, ever repeats the restart. It only works once on the date the command is given and does not repeat it for the following times. It is not very difficult, you can simply test this in a laboratory environment with AP810-820-840 series access point devices.

Just for confirmation, have you tried this command by specify only the time, no date?

Dear user, after testing by our R&D staff, we currently only have the periodic restart function for thin APs. For other AP modes, we recommend that you use the connected POE switch to restart the POE power supply.
You could login NBS‘s eweb . Do it as the following steps：
Choose Self-Organizing Mode > Network > System> Scheduled Reboot.
Choose Standalone Mode > System > Scheduled Reboot.
Click Enable, and select the date and time of scheduled reboot every week. Click Save. When the system time matches the scheduled reboot time, the device will restart.

At last，your demand is very valuable. We have fed it back to the R&D staff and they will put this feature on the agenda.
