AP840-L can support 2 types of power supply
1. 54V DC/1.1 A power input over DC connector: The DC connector accepts 2.1 mm/5.5mm center-positive circular plug. A DC power adapter needs to be purchasedindependently.
2. PoE input over LAN 1: The power source equipment (PSE) complies with IEEE802.3af/at/bt standard (PoE/PoE+/PoE++).
Note:
1) If both DC power and PoE are available, DC power is preferred.
2) When powered by 802.3bt (PoE++), the AP operates with optimal performance.
3) When powered by 802.3at (PoE+), the AP starts upnormally. LAN 2 and USB port cannot supply power to external devices.
4) When powered by 802.3af (PoE), the AP starts upnormally. Both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radio cards can work only in one spatial stream mode. LAN 2 and USB port cannot supply power to external devices.
And for AP840-L , maximum power consumption is 40W
DC powered: 40 W
PoE powered (802.3af): 12.95 W
PoE+ powered (802.3at): 22 W
PoE++ powered (802.3bt): 40 W
Idle mode: 10.3 W
