Is it possible to manually select the main AP for Mesh?  Or make an association so that the mesh-ed AP does not connect to another ap in the network ?

Hello,

Let me confirm your question with you first. Now you have 3 APs, do you need to specify AP3 manual mesh to AP1?

If so, this cannot be supported. This is selected by the device based on distance and RSSI value, which we have no control over.
If not, please tell me and describe more details with me so that I can help you better.

Best regards,
Micca

Exactly right. I have 2 Ap's wired to the switch and router and the third AP is on mesh connection.
Assuming one AP is closer then it should always connect to it, so assume there is no problem here.
But what if there is a power failure and for some reason the mesh-connected AP connects to the AP with the weaker signal.
When the meshed AP sees that there is an AP with a stronger signal to which it can connect, will it connect to it or will it stick to the connected weaker AP?

Dear sir
The AP Mesh election run with algorithm automatically.
In this case, you can configure wireless repeater mode on the AP, then you can manunlly choose the SSID you want to expand the wifi coverage.
