In this case, you need to contact post-sales engineers to rebind the license. It was caused by hardware modification. The e-portal license is bounded to acertain hardware code, hardware modification will change the code and lead to license turning invalid. In somecases, the e-portal is installed on a VM cluster. There is a mechanism called “vmotion” on VM cluster. This mechanism will move a vm from one physical server to another in some circumstance. This movement will change the hardware code of the vm and make the eportal license turn invalid. To prevent this issue from happening, we need to disable the “vmotion” function on the vm eportal is installed on, so that the hardware code will not be modified again. |
