Applied Scenarios Sub interfaces are multiple logical interfaces derived from one physical interface. This means that multiple logical interfaces are associated with one physical interface, and several logical interfaces belonging to the same physical interface share the physical configuration parameters of the physical interface when they work, but have separate link layer and network layer configuration parameters. You can configure different vlans under different sub interfaces. Configuration Steps a) Click Network> Interface > LAN/WAN Port > Sub Interface to manage the sub interface derived from the select edinterface. b) Configure the VLAN ID that you want to apply to this sub interface and configure a separate network segment IP address for the specific VLAN. |
