Keywords NBR, local authentication, user concurrency Issue Description When an NBR device is changed from cloud authentication to local authentication, the user concurrency configured for the user group does not take effect. Device Model and Firmware
After local authentication is used, the user group configuration on Ruijie Cloud will not be synchronized to the NBR. You need to configure the MAC address record on the local authentication of the NBR to restrict the number of concurrent users. Solution Procedure: Log into NBR eWeb, and choose User > Local Auth > Advanced Setting. Select Auto Remember MAC and set MAC Address Limit. If the value is set to 1, only one user is allowed to establish a connection. Note: The concurrency limits set on an NBR differ from that ofthe user group configuration on Ruijie Cloud. When MAC Address Limit is set to 1, the NBR will record the first device authenticated using the account. Even if the device is disconnected, other devices cannot connect to the NBR. Other concurrency limits are similar. On the User Permission tab page, you can modify and delete the information of a user whose MAC address is bound to the account. For example: (1) If more than one user has accessed the network before you set MAC Address Limit to 1, delete unnecessary user information on the User Permission page. (2) You can also unbind a user on the User Permission page. |
