VLAN Voice & Data on one port

GTAC-Micca replied at 2024-3-25 09:24 thank you for your reply GTAC-Micca but unfortunately not working till this moment.. my scenario as the following :- 1- I have Firewall FortiGate the patch cord cable from FortiGate to switch when i configure the port to be " Trunk " Internet not working in both vlan when i assign "access port " internet working in both vlan this is the first Problem ? 2- I created 2 Vlan's , vlan 10 for Voice & Vlan 20 For Data, when I configure both vlan and connect to phone and connect from phone to Pc the phone and PC both Taking same IP for Data Vlan 3- I am using phones "Grandstreem GXP1620/1625 " and PBX Yeastar what is the "OUI" for GrandStreem and mac-address for voice vlan ??? 4- I want when i connect to phone takes voice vlan IP automatically. I tried this configuration :- https://community.ruijienetworks.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=781 but unfortunately not working as well could you please send me configuration you actual tied it in real life thank you in advance |
Ahmed Farahat replied at 2024-4-23 14:16 Dear sir First you need to confirm whether the dhcp server can assign voice vlan ip normally. You can test if you directly connect the user device to the switch port which tagged with voice vlan, whether the user device can get voice vlan IP address successfully. If it can not get IP address of the corresponding vlan, please check whether the vlan has been allowed to pass through the passing-by switches and whether you have configured the gateway ip and the dhcp pool of the voice vlan. After the IP phone can get the voice vlan IP address, you can configure voice vlan on the IP phone to improve the priority of voice stream transmission and ensure voice quality by transmiting voice streams in the voice VLAN, and configuring QoS specific for voice streams via this guide on page 155: https://www.ruijienetworks.com/resources/preview/75577  OUI address is the first 24 bits of the device MAC address which refers to manufacturer information. Note: If IP phone supports LLDP,user doesn't need to configure OUI manually .Switch could recognize and identify IP phone by the LLDP packets sending from IP phone. Best regards Jenny |
