1.Check the radio power of the AP Radio power will affect the coverage of the AP, and if there is an obstacle exists between the AP and the terminal devices, terminal devices may not able to find the SSID too. 2. Check the Response Threshold of the AP If the distance between the AP and terminal is far away from each and ResponseThreshold is configured, the SSID may not display on the WiFi list. 3. Check the MBSSID on the AP whether the radio 2.4G or 5G are enabled Reyee AP: Channel 1-13 for 2.4G Channel 36-161 for 5G If radio 2.4G or 5G is shutdown, check the poe setting on the AP whether the POE power is sufficient RuijieAP: If 2.4G or 5G are disabled The MBSSID name will be disappeared We can use these commands to enable radio: Ruijie#conf t Ruijie(config)#interface dot11radio 1/0--->enable 2.4G, 2/0 for 5G Ruijie(config-if-dot11radio 1/0)#no shutdown Check if the POE power is sufficient, if not change poe mode of the PoE switchto PoE+/PoE++ Or replace a PoE adapter that can support PoE+/PoE++ 4. Check the supported radio of terminal devices Because some devices support 2.4G or 5G only, it will need to check the SSID setting and supported radio of terminal devices, then change the SSID to the supported radio by terminal devices. 5. Check whether Wireless mode is supported by terminal devices If device can not receive the SSID and have checked the configuration above. You can try to switch Wireless mode to Compatibility mode |
