AP RAP2260 Mesh

Hi , we are using AP model is RAP2260. Does the AP have mesh function? Because our mobile devices in the company are not automatically switching to the optimal AP based on signal strength when moving within the system. If the AP has mesh functionality, how to check if this feature has been enabled. Thanks. |

Dear sir Yes, RAP2260 can support AP mesh function in the latest firmware version. You can check whether the AP mesh function is enabled on this page:  You can follow this guide to configure AP mesh: https://community.ruijienetworks.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=4332&page=1&extra=#pid7525 Because our mobile devices in the company are not automatically switching to the optimal AP based on signal strength when moving within the system. ----> For this issue, this is the client behaviour to choose which AP to connect to, we may need to adjust the AP transmit power and the deployed location and further test roaming to check. However, it seems that the mobile devices are still not automatically switching to the AP with the strongest signal.
