Simple PORT WAN0 : IP Address ISP1 PORT WAN1 : IP Address ISP2 PORT LAN2-LAN4 : DHCP IP Address 192.168.1.0/24 PORT LAN5-LAN7 : DHCP IP Address 192.168.10.0/24 Can you setup LAN port 2 network class for Ruijie RG-EG2100-P v2 ? |
Dear sir, Sorry can't split the LAN port of the EG2100-P, they are on bridge mode. If you want to use another vlan IP, need to configure sub-interface best regards Daisy |

I am using EG2100-P as well. can I apply same vlan ID on different ports? For example, I add VLAN30 vlan40 using sub interface in port 2, can I apply same setting in port 3? Thanks |
ty.principal@pe replied at 2021-6-3 20:38 hi bro, you cannot apply same vlan and same ip prefix on sub interface, it will conflict. |
Hello, Can I build the sub interfaces in LAN1/WAN1 port? What happens to LAN ports 2-7? |
ty.principal@pe replied at 2021-6-3 20:38 hi bro, you can add vlan30 and vlan40 on LAN port 2 as a sub interface, and the port 3-7 will inherit the setting on LAN port 2, as i know, EG2100-P v2 port arrangement should be WAN0, WAN1 / LAN1, LAN2-7, only WAN1/LAN1 can be convert either WAN or LAN. |
Mario replied at 2021-10-8 08:21 hi bro, you can add a sub interface on LAN1/WAN1, when you convert the WAN1 to LAN1, if you select layer 2, it will inherit the setting from LAN2, if you select LAN, it will become a separate LAN port. you cannot add same Network ID and VLAN ID on LAN1 (LAN) and LAN2, it will conflict. Example, LAN1 = 192.168.0.0/24 (VLAN10) LAN2 = 192.168.10.0/24(VLAN20) |
