Using cloud configuration switch ES206GS-P is showing that there is firmware upgrade but when I log in locally it shows that it's on the latest firmware. I have another device that is not on-site, I have actioned update over the cloud, now it's non-responsive, when I tunnel in it shows that it's busy with firmware update but it never updates. Although it's working, I am unable to reboot either. Any recommendations and advise on which firmware version is correct and how do we remotely get the switch out off endless "firmware update"? |
Hi: can you please stop the upgrading process here: You can check the avalilable firmware versions in our official website. If you want to check if the hardware version is compatible, please refer to the release notes on that firmware version. Regards, Javier |

Alexander P replied at 2024-7-17 23:56 Dear sir The latest firmware version of ES206GS-P is ESW_1.0(1)B1P35, you can refer to this link to download it: https://reyee.ruijie.com/en-global/resources/software/rg-es206gs-p-software/es206gs-p-b1p35-firmware/ May I know what firmware that cloud prompts to upgrade for the switch? Can you share with us the network project to further check this issue? Best regards Jenny |
GTAC-Jenny replied at 2024-7-22 15:55 Hi Jenny, it was for ES206GS-P switch. After I remotely stopped with the update (as per suggestion here) there are no more incorrect notifications that firmware upgrade is available, so I guess no need to share project. Please note, I had similar problem with one more switch but it just went away after few days on it's own. |
