DHCP: The router detects whether it can obtain an IP address via DHCP by default. If the router connects to the internet successfully, you can click Next without entering the account. PPPoE: Enter the dialup account and password obtained fromthe ISP. If you replace the old router with a new one, click Obtain Account from Old Device. Connect the old and new routers to a power supply and start them. Insert one end of the Ethernet cable into the WAN port of the old router and connect the other end to a LAN port of the new router, and click Obtain. The new router automatically fetches the PPPoE account of the old router. Click Save to make the configuration take effect. Static IP: Enter the IPaddress, subnet mask, gateway, and DNS server, and click Next. |
