1. did you config the vlan id in switch and EG device?
2. when the device is offline, did you try ping the 8.8.8.8 from your laptop?
3. Which method does the EG device use to access the Internet? DHCP or PPPOE?
Looking forward to your kind reply.
Best Regards
Tom

Hello Scross,
Could you check if your PC is configured with a static IP address?
For Windows:

  • Open the Control Panel:

    • Press Windows Key + S and type "Control Panel," then      select it from the search results.
  • Go to Network and Sharing     Center:

    • Inside the Control Panel, click on "Network and Internet"      and then choose "Network and Sharing Center."
  • Open Network Adapter Settings:

    • On the left side, click on "Change adapter settings."
  • Access the Properties of Your     Network Connection:

    • Right-click on the active network connection (usually labeled as      "Ethernet" or "Wi-Fi") and select      "Properties."
  • Check the Internet Protocol     Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Settings:

    • In the list of connection items, scroll down and select      "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)" and click the      "Properties" button.
  • Determine if a Static IP is     Configured:

    • In the TCP/IPv4 properties window:

      • If "Obtain an IP address automatically" is selected,       your PC is using a dynamic IP (DHCP).

      • If "Use the following IP address" is selected, your PC       is configured with a static IP.

  • View Static IP Settings (if     applicable):

    • If "Use the following IP address" is selected, you’ll see      the specific IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway entered. This      confirms that the PC is using a static IP address.
FormacOS:

  • Open System Preferences:

    • Click on the Apple icon in the top-left corner and select      "System Preferences."
  • Go to Network Settings:

    • Click on "Network."
  • Select Your Network     Connection:

    • In the left pane, select your active network connection (usually      "Wi-Fi" or "Ethernet").
  • Check the IP Configuration:

    • Click on the "Advanced..." button at the bottom-right.

    • Go to the "TCP/IP" tab.

    • Under "Configure IPv4":

      • If "Using DHCP" is selected, your PC is using a dynamic       IP.

§If"Manually" is selected, your PC is using a static IP, and youcan see the configured IP address and subnet.
