Reset Password for RGOS 11.X I. Configuration Tips 1. Prepare console cable before recovering 2. Password recovery require system rebooting and network downtime 3. Improper operation may cause config file lost. II. Configuration Steps 1. connect console cable to the switch 2. Refer to chapter system management>console management 1) manually reboot the switch 2) Press Ctrl+C when system rebooting 3) Press CTRL +Q to enter uboot CLI mode, key in' main_config_password_clear ' 4) then system will reboot automatically 5) At this moment, no password is required to enter CLI Note: The password is reset just temporarily .Once you quit privilege mode, password is required again. You have to reset the password quickly. 6) Reset new password 7) Verify new password Login with the new password |
