The terminal needs to access DNS when surfing the Internet. If multiple DNS servers exist on the terminal andsome of them have problems, it may cause Internet access lag, web pages can notbe opened, etc. When Ruijie EG's uplink ISP modem has additional DNS configured, Ruijie EG will learn that DNS and provide it to the user who is connected. As shown in the figure: 1.Topology& Phenomena: As you can see, a PC connected to Ruijie EG will not only get the DNS from DHCP pool, but also ISP modem. 2.Configuration Steps: 2.1 Input these CLI commands into Ruijie EG: Ruijie> enable Ruijie# config Ruijie(config)# no ip dhcp dns dynamic //Disable thedynamic dns for DHCP pool Ruijie(config)# end Ruijie#write 2.2 Turn off the network adapter of the PC, thenturn it on again. 3.Test Result: Check the network adapter of PC via this command: ipconfig /all |
