Hello, We have a requirement to allow only Facebook Messenger while blocking Facebook apps on both web and mobile devices. How can we achieve this on the NBR6205-E router? The available apps category falls under a single application category (Facebook|Messenger). If I allow or deny the apps, it applies to both Facebook and Messenger. Is there a way to block only the Facebook app while allowing Facebook Messenger? Thanks and regards |
Hi, ICT-infra Currently the App Blacklist cannot separate Facebook and Messenger in app identification. We will submit this requirement to R&D to review, thank you for your feedback. Best regards, Jayden |
GTAC-Jayden replied at 2024-6-12 22:59 Hi Jayden, Thank you for the fast response. I hope this will be considered for future blocklists. Nowadays, Facebook Messenger is widely used for fast communication in many organizations. Separating the two would be a nice feature, similar to what some other brands offer. Thanks and regards, |
