Hello, I am a new user of ruijie reyee RG-EG105GW router. On my previous network I did not use a router, and was able to access the local website but when using this router I cannot access it by hostname, but if by ip it can. this applies to all connected devices. |
Hi, User 31982 If you are using EG105GW, unfortunately, it does not support DNS policy to locally resolve domain names by mapping URLs to specific IP addresses. If you have another model for example EG105GW(X) running ReyeeOS280 version or later, you may configure DNS policy. Please refer to the section 3.7.2 DNS Policy on the config guide in the following link: https://reyee.ruijie.com/en-global/support/documents/slide_rg-eg-series-routers-configuration-guide?page=html&keyworks=DNS#_Toc165992986 Best regards, Jayden |

User 31982 replied at 2024-6-18 15:22 Hi, User 31982 Yes, EG105GW(T) can support DNS policy. Please configure the mapping of your local website to the correct IP. Best regards, Jayden |
