Hello Support My VOIP phones fail to register, I think Reyee Cloud Gateway router is block ports. I want to open all the ports for 3CX on Reyee Cloud Gateway router to IP Range, How do I do it? And no VOIP traffic must be blocked Router: EG310GH-E |
Test on a external internet connection LTE - working.. This means Reyee Cloud Router is blocking 3CX traffic, how do I fix this problem. I tried SIP ALG, doesnt work |
Jacques Rossouw replied at 2024-5-31 03:02 Dear, Good day, A router cannot block ports. On the router, ports can be enabled by performing port mapping. It is necessary to verify that if there is a firewall in the network, it is not blocking the ports. Could you tell me what firmware version the router has? Thanks Best regards. Karen |
AnaKarenDuranUrrutia replied at 2024-5-31 06:17 Current Version ReyeeOS 2.280.0.1620 (Latest version) No firewalls. Reyee Cloud Router is the Firewall\Router.... |
Jacques Rossouw replied at 2024-5-31 16:08 Here is what happening 1. Existing VOIP phones register on 3cx Cloud and can make calls, new phones dont want to register on 3cx cloud 2. When I switch on SIP ALG I can register new Phones on 3cx cloud and make calls but existing phones not registered and cant make calls 3. Did test phone on my LTE router working 100% |
Jacques Rossouw replied at 2024-5-31 17:05 Make sure your LTE Router is in Passthrough Mode and your Reyee Gateway has a public WAN address. SIP does not play nicely with NAT and if you have double NAT you definitely will run into serious issues. |
Jacques Rossouw replied at 2024-5-31 17:05 Hello, Can I confirm if the protocol is the same for the old and new phones? And is the software version the same? What happens if you delete the old phone and add it again after SIP ALG is enabled? You can test it first, if there are still problems, please feel free to contact me. I'd be happy to help you in the community. |

Jacques Rossouw replied at 2024-5-31 18:53 Testing 2 phones when I switch on SIP ALG phones register and can phone. But when I switch off SIP ALG phones dont want to register |
Jacques Rossouw replied at 2024-5-31 18:53 Exactly. If i assume your LTE Device is setup as a NAT router. 1x NAT can be bypassed with e.g. STUN or ALG. But given your LTE Router is doing NAT and EG does it as well, 3CX is behind 2 NATs now. This is why registering failes (without ALG), because 3CX compares registration address with request IP. ALG will fix that, but can´t for the 2nd NAT; meaning you might be able to register, but unfortunately will still have issues (one way audio or unability to call). Fix should be easy to change LTE Router to passthrough and use Reyee EG as your router. Good luck. |
poli5681 replied at 2024-5-31 21:43 Dont think you understand 1. Reyee Gateway Router connected to Fibre- VOIP 3CX fails to register and make calls 2. LTE router connected to VOIP is at my home - VOIP 3CX register and can make calls |

GTAC-Stella replied at 2024-6-24 14:11 Nope all new phones don't want to register, how do I allow all 3CX ports on Cloud Gateway router? |
Jacques Rossouw replied at 2024-7-2 14:35 Hi, Jacques Rossouw Please kindly note that the router does not have the ability to block ports. May I please know if any error prompts or logs on the 3cx Cloud could indicate why the registration failed? If you suspect the ports are blocked on your public IP, please verify this with the ISP.
