Title: What are the precautions for installing directional antennas of the AP630 series outdoor APs?
1. The installation height of abuilt-in directional antenna can be adjusted based on site requirements. Forsecurity, anti-theft, and coverage  purposes,it is recommended that the installation height be higher than or equal to 4 m.If an AP is pole-mounted, it is recommended that the pole diameter be 50 mmbecause the AP may be installed with other devices or accessories.
2. If theinstallation height of a built-in directional antenna does not exceed 5 m, theAP can be installed vertically. When the AP is installed on a pole of 5 m to 10m high, adjust the angle between the antenna and pole to 5° to 10°. If the APis installed on the roof of a building of 3 or 4 floors high, adjust the anglebetween the antenna and pole to 10° to 15°. If the AP is installed in aposition higher than 10 m, the angle between the antenna and pole needs to beincreased to ensure network coverage in the lower part. If the angle is notlarge enough, there may be coverage dead zones of several meters underneath theAP. The angle affects the AP coverage area. If the AP is installed on the roofor other similar scenarios, it is recommended that a neighboring AP be used forcoverage to ensure the optimal effect. (The preceding is only for empiricalsuggestion. The actual test result prevails.) In outdoor scenarios, antennascannot face upwards, and outdoor devices cannot be used to cover an indoorarea.
