Differences: Assume that the rate limit of 1 Mbit/s is configured on the inbound interface but the device has two outbound interfaces. The sum of traffic of a user on the two outbound interfaces cannot exceed 1 Mbit/s. If the rate limit of 1 Mbit/s is configured on each of the two outbound interfaces, the total traffic cannot exceed 2 Mbit/s.
