Title: Config Port Access Vlan on AP Ethernet Port [Print this page]

Author: liujunhui1@ruij    Time: 2023-10-11 20:53
Dear sir

as i checked the native VLAN will be VLAN 1
but for voice VLAN,it can only support VLAN range from 2-4094,that means, native VLAN and voice VLAN can not be the same vlan, so it will require the trunk port to allow VLAN to get through
Voice VLAN:
A voice virtual local area network (VLAN) is a VLAN dedicated to voice traffic of users. By creating a voice VLAN and adding ports connected to voice devices to the voice VLAN, you can have voice data transmitted in the voice VLAN and deliver specified policy of the quality of service (QoS) for voice streams, to improve the transmission priority of voice traffic and ensure the call quality.

No, i meant port between switch and ap is already trunk. what i want is to use 4 port under the ap to access other vlans. One of its is for voice (Vlan 200)
Vlan on AP (planning):
vlan 1
vlan 110 (Wireless Staff)
vlan  120 (Wireless Guest)
vlan 200 (IPPhone)
vlan 300 (IoT)

Thanks

Dear sir

in that case,we can just configure different VLANs for SSIDs like this

or we can configure different vlans for each lan port follow this link

Dear Ross or others master,
I obviously want to make sure, can ipphone working on RG-AP130 port?
i just finished config on ap:
vlan 200
interface GigabitEthernet 0/1  <<<< LinkTo_Switch
encapsulation dot1q 1
ip dhcp snooping trust
!
interface GigabitEthernet 0/1.200
encapsulation dot1Q 200
ip dhcp snooping trust
!
interface GigabitEthernet 0/2
encapsulation dot1Q 200
rldp port loop-detect shutdown-port  <<< LinkTo_IPPhone
!
------------------------------------------------
on switch (NBS3100):
vlan 200
interface Giga 0/1
Access Vlan 200 <<< LinkTo_PABX
interface Giga 0/2
Trunk 1-4049  <<LinkTo_AP
----------------------------------------------------
will this config working?
(i dont declare voice vlan 200, OUI, yet because i dont see any voice config on AP130)

Dear sir

Dear sir

The voiceVLAN needs to be configured in the NBS. Therefore, the VoicevLAN does not need to be configured on the AP. Traffic only needs to pass through the AP

The VLAN configuration of the above port is OK, and the traffic on the VLAN configured on the subinterface can also be transmitted. However, the above configuration only ensures that all vlans transmit data through G0/1. If other ports need to transmit data, vlans must be configured on the corresponding ports

Bes regards,
Ross
