Title: some phone not used 5ghz band in wireless rg ew-3000gx pro
Hello, i have rg ew-3000gx pro. i have 7 phone client connected (inifinix note 30 pro, itel s23, 2 redmi 9, 3 zte blade a72) which support 5ghz band. When i used my router from ISP, all phone use 5ghz band. But when use rg ew-3000gx pro all zte blade a72 and 1 redmi 9 used 2,4ghz band. I have checked 5G-Prior Access. But still used 2,4ghz band.

Hi:

can you please let us to know if you have enabled the dual-band SSID? you can check it following the path on the eweb of your RG-EW3000GX PRO: more > WLAN > Wi-Fi > Wi-Fi Settings

After disable and save, you will find the 2.4G and 5G Wi-Fi.

Select the 5G Wi-Fi network on devices that previously were working on the 2.4G only and test if you can surf on the internet normally or not.

Regards,

Javier

Dear bapaknuwakalila,

You may try disable dual-band SSID so that 2.4G and 5G SSIDs will be separated, and you can connect your devices to the 5G-only SSID.

Best regards,
Jayden

Dear sir,

Please check if you have set the correct country code in the Radio Frequency settings, and which 5G channel are you using at the moment? Can you try to change it to a common channel like 149 and test again?

Best regards,
Jayden

Dear sir,

Thank you for the update. I am glad it is working now.
The automatically selected channel 36 is not supported in Indonesia and that caused the issue. May I please confirm what is the current firmware of your EW3000GX Pro? If it's not the latest version which is ReyeeOS 1.301, please upgrade it so that when you change the channel back to Auto, it can select the correct channel.
You may download the firmware in the link below:

Best regards,
Jayden
