Fault Description:
When the Apple TV is used to play a video in wired or wireless mode in the internal network, the Apple TV automatically switches to 480P or standard definition mode. (The video loading may be slow but the delay and network speed are normal.)

Solution:
1. Disable the DoS protection for the IP address of the Apple TV.
2. Disable the UTM policy for testing.

If your Apple TV automatically switches to standard definition mode while you're watching something, there could be a few possible reasons for this issue. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
Check your internet connection: A weak or unstable internet connection can cause your Apple TV to switch to standard definition to ensure a smoother streaming experience. Make sure your Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection is stable and has sufficient bandwidth.
Adjust video settings: On your Apple TV, go to Settings > Video and Audio > Format. Ensure that the selected video format is set to "Automatic" or "HD." If it's already set to HD, you can try changing it to a specific resolution and see if that resolves the issue.
Restart your Apple TV: Sometimes, a simple restart can fix temporary glitches. Go to Settings > System > Restart and allow your Apple TV to reboot.
Update software: Ensure that your Apple TV is running the latest software version. Go to Settings > System > Software Updates and check for any available updates. If an update is available, download and install it.
Reset settings: If the issue persists, you can try resetting your Apple TV to its factory settings. Go to Settings > System > Reset and choose either "Reset All Settings" or "Reset and Update."
Contact Apple Support: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it's recommended to reach out to Apple Support for further assistance. They can provide specific troubleshooting steps based on your Apple TV model and software version.
Remember to double-check your connections, settings, and software updates before contacting support, as those are the most common causes of this type of issue.
