Hi!
I got a switch like this (RG-S2928G-E V3 28-Port Gigabit L2+ Managed Switch), I plug it into a configured system - it works like a dumb one, it is not added to the application, it does not receive an IP. If you connect via the CLI, then its settings are available.
Can you tell me how to enable a web interface for it and make it discoverable and manageable via the cloud?


PS. I even can`t find this model in "What is your model?: =)

RG-S2928G-E V3 this model can supoprt cloud managed.





Can you check your device frimware version pls? If not the latest one, pls upgrade it and check again.
If device cannot ontain ip address, pls check whether your vlan or DHCP setting correct.

I can check the firmware only through the CLI, if you can tell me exactly where to go there....

Yes, the switch does not receive IP, there is no vlan, DHCP is working, other devices received the data correctly and displayed (EG105G-P-V2 router, RAP2260(G) works from it with a separate port, three points are already working from it - RAP2260(G) and two RAP2260(G)).

Actually, I can also try updating through the CLI, if you can tell me how, since I was able to connect to the hardware through it.
I would be very grateful if you can help me figure it out!

For enterprise switch(RG-S29 series), It needs to configure CWMP URL on CLI manually.

Check CWMP configuration
    The following is right cwmp configuration:
     show cwmp configuration
     CWMP status                     : enable
     ACS URL                         :            
     http://devicereg.ruijienetworks.com/service/tr069servlet (DYNAMIC)
     CPE URL                         : http://172.29.60.63:7547/ (DYNAMIC)
     If the configuration is wrong, you can use the command following to
     change.   
     AP#config ter
     AP(config)#cwmp
     AP(config-cwmp)#acs url http://devicereg.ruijienetworks.com/service/tr069servlet
        ----you can replace 'devicereg' to 'cwmpsvr-as' or 'cwmpsvr-eu' base on the cloud you are using.

THE FINAL!


So, summing up the higher-level advice, I still succeeded)


1. After connecting via the CLI, I updated the firmware to the latest
2. Reset the switch to factory settings
3. I connected via the CLI again, set the IP, checked access to the Internet, turned on the web interface, and checked its availability.
4. Again, through the CLI, I performed the steps to add ACS, after which, after 5 minutes, the switch was perfectly identified and became available through the cloud.
