hello; I installed the system as air metro 550g base station and airmetro 460g cpe, I added 12 cpe to the 550g antenna. The signal decibels are 43 dbm as standard in all of them. But the cpe's are constantly disconnecting and reconnecting. Also, I cannot configure VLAN to the cpe antennas. Can you provide support regarding this? |
Dear sir, Are there any obstacles between AirMetro? Please also check whether the channel used by the device hits the radar channel (DFS). After hitting the radar channel, the device will automatically avoid and switch to a non-radar channel, causing the device to be disconnected. Regarding the VLAN on AirMetro, unfortunately AirMetro does not support VLAN configuration, but it supports VLAN transparent transmission, which means it can transmit VLAN between sites. Best regards, Lex |
GTAC-Lex replied at 2025-6-17 17:20 hello ; There is no physical barrier between the devices, data dbm is almost 45 dbi. I started experiencing this problem when the number of cpe started to increase. There are currently 12 cpe. I did not experience these problems when there were 5-6 cpe. The 550 G datasheet also states that it supports 32 cpe, but I think we will not be able to reach this number. The lack of VLAN is a big deficiency of this antenna. We provide Wisp service. I cannot imagine a network without VLAN. |
