How to capture packets on Ruijie EG?

Step1: Click Advanced >Issue Collection and enter the packet capture page.


Step2: Click Add Rule to add packet capture rules and click Save.

Rule Name: The packet capture name which can only be a combination of numbers and letters (required field).
L2 Protocol: You can select any, ip or arp protocol packets to capture (required field).
Dest MAC/Src MAC: Enter the destination mac address or source mac address of the packets (optional field).


Step3: Click Add Capture Point to apply the capture rule and select the interface where you want to capture the packets.





Step4: Click Startto start the packet capturing through the EG interface.





Step5: Download the capture packets to check.





Note: The device can capture only 20M packets. If the packet capture size exceeds 20M, the system stops automatically.
