For APs work in FAT mode, when wirless clients get the IP address from the same uplink DHCP server of APs, clients will have a quick reassociation with new BSSID when walk from one AP to another AP with same SSID. The effect of this behavior is the same as Layer 2 roaming. For APs managed by one AC, the roaming feature is enabled by default, wireless clients can roam between different APs when connected to the same SSID. For Inter-AC roaming, you may refer to the 2.5.2 Chapter of Ruijie RG-WLAN Implementation Cookbook to configure it. |
