I have deployed the hot-backup in my network environment, however the status can not be channel_up, what should I check ?

There are some points you need to check.
(1)Check whether the route between the loopback 0 addresses of the two ACs isreachable.


(2)Check whether the configuration between two AC are the same or not.


(3)Check whether a firewall is configured between the ACs. the ports TCP 6425, TCP 6435, UDP 7425, and UDP 7435 must be open.


(4)Check whether the APs and ACs have been upgraded to the latest version and the versions are consistent. APs earlier than 1b19 version do not support hotbackup. This problem is caused by existence of multiple APs of different versions. The tunnel can be created only between APs of  later versions and the ACs


Most hot-backup faults are caused by configuration inconsistency between the activeand standby ACs. It is recommend to use Beyond Compare to check whether the configurations of the active and standby ACs are the same.
