Does RG-AP840-I and AP180 support DHCP option 82? How to configure?

Dear TAC,
I can't find how to configure Option 82 on APs. I need to forward SSID and MAC of the ap where a client connected to DHCP server to choose the right IP to lease, so i need to forward these fields: Cid=ssid, rid=mac

Hi Jenny,
I think i wasn't clear enough. I meant APs in FIT mode. So i wish to make this config centrally to hundreds of APs. And it should be working like this. After going online, a STA obtains the IP address through DHCP. When the DHCP Request packet from the STA reaches an AP, the AP adds the Option 82 field to the packet and sends the packet to the DHCP server. The Option 82 field contains the MAC address and SSID of the associated AP. Therefore, the DHCP server knows the AP on which the STA goes online.

You can configure DHCP option 82 on the device which enables DHCP Snooping.
1. Configuring basic functions of DHCP Snooping.
2. Configuring Option82.
Ruijie# configure terminal
Ruijie(config)# ip dhcp snooping information option
Ruijie(config)# end

You can configure DHCP option 82 on Ruijie Fit APs:
Ruijie(config)# ip dhcp snooping information option

Note:
1. The Opion82 functions for DHCP Snooping and DHCP Relay are mutually exclusive.

2. Enable this Option 82 function on access devices with DHCP Snooping enabled.

You can use the command: Ruijie(config)#ap-config all to enter the configuration mode of all APs to achieve batch configuration, and the configuration in this mode will take effect for all APs associated with this AC.
