You can use the fan mode command to change the operating mode of the fans to standard mode, quiet mode, or user-defined mode. The fans operate in standard mode by default. You can switch the fan operating mode to quiet or user-defined mode.
Note: Only certain Ruijie switches support adjusting fan speed. If fan mode command is not available, it means the switch does not support adjusting fan speed.
Command:
fan mode { normal | quiet | { defined [ speed-level level ]}}
Parameters:
normal: It indicates that the fans operate in standard mode, which is the default operating mode.
quiet: It indicates that the fans operate in quiet mode.
defined: It indicates that the fans operate in user-defined mode. In user-defined mode, the rotating speed of each fan in the fan trays of the chassis is the same, which will not change as the system temperature changes. Therefore, the user-defined mode is not recommended.
speed-level level: In user-defined mode, it specifies the rotating speed level of the fans. Seven levels are available; that is, the value of levels ranges from 1 to 7. The rotating speed level is level 3 by default
Configuration Examples:
Ruijie(config)#fan mode quiet -----> sets the fans to quiet mode
Or
Ruijie(config)#fan mode defined speed-level 4-----> set the fans to user-defined mode at speed level 4

Verification:
Use the show fan command to check the current operating mode of the fans.
