I have an RG-ES205GC-P and want to connect the switch to the router. but when connecting it via UTP cable, the uplink ethernet status is crosstalk, it says Environment or cable causes alien crosstalk, which can be ignored if there is no influence and the ping test results to the switch device are corrupted, so the switch cannot connect to the cloud and causes client latency to increase. i try replace cable, and pretty sure that the cable is normal. Is there a solution that can be tried? |
Dear sir May I know if you use the same cable connected other device to the uplink device whether the client also has delay network? May I know your client is wired connected or wireless connected that has this issue? If the devices are online, please help share with me your network to further check this issue. I have 5 switches all have the same error. My device can't connect to the cloud because of this issue. |

For the ES switch offline issue, can you help check whether the ES switch has got IP address on this page: Please connect your PC to the port of the ES switch, then ping 'iotsvr-as.ruijienetworks.com' on that PC or laptop to check whether it can ping normally. But won't affect the data transfer between clients connect with it. So please help confirm whether the client connected to the ES switch is stable. For the ES switch offline issue, can you try to enable VLAN settings here and change the DNS server to 8.8.8.8 for a test?
