I Wanted to Know will line card work as supervised engine and what about it ports?

I am using RG-NBS7003, as a line card and i\I wanted to make it as a supervised engine, but the confusion is what about its ports will it travel data or not, Kindly tell me about the ports of it, what will it do? |

Dear Muhammad Ahmed, On NBS7003, the line card inserted into only slot 1 will work as the supervisor engine. Please note you need to insert a line card to slot 1 as the supervisor engine in order for the chassis switch to work, if you only insert a line card to slot 2 or 3, there will be no supervisor engine and the switch will not work. The line card inserted into slot 1 can still forward data on its ports. Best regards, Jayden |
