When an AC exits a VAC, thelicense installed on it will be retained for a period of time, which is thelicense aging time and can be configured. If the AC does not join the VAC afterthe license aging time expires and licenses on remaining ACs are insufficient,APs beyond the license range will be kicked offline. If the AC hardware isfaulty and the AC cannot join the VAC in time, a temporary license can be used.In RGOS 11.1(5)B9P5 and later version, the license aging time is 168 hours (7days) by default, and the value range is 1 hour to 336 hours (14 days). Inversions earlier than RGOS 11.1(5)B9P5, the license aging time is 24 hours (1day) by default and the value range is 1 hour to 168 hours (7 days). To adjust the license aging time, run the following commands: VAC(config)# ac-controller VAC(config-ac)# license-idle-timeout336 # Unit: hour |
